The governments control over its citizens

I think that the government can have control over its citizens but they should control them by only preventing crime and pain or helping people with tough times but by having to control all of their life and decisions is something else. The government shouldn't be making choices for us or even telling us where we should go or what we should do so that we don't make pretty poor life choices because its natural to make mistakes and we can learn from them but if we do everything perfectly and don't do anything wrong then we don't learn anything and someday we try to do stuff on our own we can mess up in a way that no one knows what to do so they panic and stuff. And if the government has total control over its citizens then they might do what they think is right or what they think is perfect for everybody and its never really true or good to do so, for example, the government could make every one eat regular sauce instead of letting them choose the sauce they want to eat like chunky sauce or diet sauce but some people that prefer chunky sauce wont be as happy or satisfied as the people that like regular because no matter what happens we all like different things and not all of us think the same. So to conclude all of this i think that the government should have only control of certain things that happen instead of all the life of its people.
