The Giver chapters 1-5

In the chapters 1 through 5 Jonas is in the perfect world where there is no crime, war,pain and fear. He lives in a community where everything has order there are no choices and everything is strict. His family unit is formed from his father ,his mother and his sister, Lily. His best friends are a guy named Asher and  a girl named Fiona. And apart from that his ceremony of twelve is coming soon in December which means he is turning from an eleven to a twelve, and that means that many things will change for him, and he wont see his friends as often as before. So before he becomes a twelve he decides he should spend the rest of his time with his friends.
